Counselling & Psychotherapy Online and In-Person in Belfast

I’m listening

A safe & confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings and life’s challenges

Hello, I'm Susan

I’m an integrative counsellor offering online counselling across Northern Ireland and in-person counselling in East Belfast.

I work with adults who may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, low in mood, or facing challenges that feel difficult to carry alone. Sometimes people come to counselling feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves or others, unsure where to begin or how to move forward.

Counselling offers a safe and confidential space to slow things down, explore your thoughts and feelings, and begin to make sense of what’s happening for you at your own pace.

If you’re considering counselling and would like to see whether it feels like the right fit, you’re welcome to arrange a free 15-minute consultation call.

You might be considering counselling if:

  • anxiety, stress, or low mood are becoming overwhelming
  • life feels stuck or directionless
  • you feel disconnected from yourself or others
  • you’re carrying thoughts or experiences that feel heavy to hold alone

Life can bring unexpected challenges and pressures. Counselling offers a space to pause, reflect, and explore what’s happening beneath the surface, with someone outside your everyday life.

I believe you are the expert on your own inner world. My role is to offer steady support and thoughtful guidance as you deepen your understanding and begin to respond to life in ways that feel more balanced and manageable.

I work as an integrative counsellor, drawing from approaches including Person-Centred counselling, CBT-informed understanding, and psychodynamic thinking. This allows me to tailor counselling to your individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within professional ethical standards.
